Lancering F1 TV gepland voor Grand Prix van Spanje

De nieuwe streamingdienst van de Formule 1 moet voor de Spaanse Grand Prix in mei gelanceerd worden. Dat is op dit moment de planning van Liberty Media. F1 TV, zoals de streamingdienst gaat heten, had eigenlijk al voor Australië online moeten gaan, maar de dienst bevatte destijds nog te veel bugs en glitches. Die plooien zouden voor Spanje gladgestreken moeten zijn.

De Formule 1 onderwerpt F1 TV komend weekend in China en over twee weken in Azerbeidzjan nog aan een gesloten beta-test om alle kinderziektes weg te weken. De lancering van de streamingdienst staat nu gepland voor het Grand Prix-weekend op het Circuit de Catalunya in de buurt van Barcelona, waar de koningsklasse van de autosport van 11 tot en met 13 mei te gast is.

F1 TV zal twee opties bevatten; F1 TV Pro en F1 TV Access. F1 TV Pro is de duurdere variant en biedt live beelden van alle sessies, onboard-beelden van alle rijders, de persconferenties, interviews, live feeds en later dit jaar ook de races uit het voorprogramma (Formule 2, GP3, Porsche Supercup). Gebruikers kunnen de manier waarop ze de Grands Prix volgen helemaal personaliseren.

Een jaarabonnement op F1 TV Pro zal tussen de 70 en 150 dollar gaan kosten. De maandtarieven bedragen tussen de 8 en 12 dollar. F1 TV Access is minder uitgebreid. Deze variant biedt alleen tijden, hoogtepunten van alle sessies en is meer ter aanvulling op F1 TV Pro. De prijzen voor F1 TV Access zijn in het persbericht van de Formule 1 niet bekendgemaakt.

Als ik het goed begrijp moet je dus straks gaan betalen voor diensten die nu nog gratis zijn op de site van F1. Geen live timing meer voor nop. Goed bezig, Liberty. Zo krijg je snel meer fans.

  Dit is gewoon een extra dienst naast het bestaande aanbod op tv/internet.
  Als je gewoon alles direct bij de hand wil hebben en die 150 dollar je niet intereseert dan kan je voor het pro pakket kiezen.
  Als je alleen de race wil zien en zelf wel live timing erbij zoekt dan kan dat ook.
  Ik vind het mooi dat ze het aanbieden en zodra het in NL is betaal ik met plezier die 150 dollar voor een jaar.

  Voor wie hem nog niet kende...
  Ik HAD de betaalde uitvoering van de originele F1 app.
  tot ik vorige jaar een gratis live timing site met map waar de wagens rijden op EEN pagina vond.
  (ik bekijk dat dan wel op een pc met erg groot scherm , misschien staat het op een foon of zo onder elkaar )
  Die ene pagina voldoet voor mij ruimschoots en vind ik zeker duidelijker dan de huidige miezerig kleine onduidelijke lettertjes/cijfertjes en kleurtjes op tv....
  En gezien dit nieuwe "alleen maar meer info zien als je NOG meer betaalt site gedoe " nog niet in Nederland beschikbaar komt...
  (NOG meer omdat we ook ziggo al flink extra spekken hiervoor)
  Bovendien, als ik dit hierboven zo lees en goed begrijp ,
  Als ik alleen allerlei bepaalde dingen kan zien door steeds te moeten te schakelen naar allerlei verschillende pagina's (zoals de F1 app nu ook ) op een site of tv , dan zie je van de race zelf tenslotte ook niet veel meer.
  IK vind dit dus meer iets voor uhhh...de persoonlijke nabeschouwing zeg maar... het terug kijken van dit spul, per (keuze) wagen en bijbehorende camera's het liefst , want soms wil je een bepaald stuk van de baan vooruit, soms opzij of soms achteruit kijken toch ? , dat zou ik leuk vinden...maar of DAT kan ??
  Maar goed
  Deze onderstaande site is op diverse plaatsen ook nog aan klikbaar voor andere/meer info, net wat je zelf handig of leuk vind , dus kijk of je dr wat aan hebt.
  Wel even zelf alles achter elkaar zetten want zonder spaties weet ik niet of die link geplaatst wordt.
  Ook moet je wel even inloggen , dat kan simpel door op een van die icoontjes te klikken rechts onderin...met je feestboek / twitter account en zo er is keus, doe je dat niet dan zie je weinig ;)
  De chatruimte, vreselijk iritant vind ik...kan je uitschakelen na je inlog

Ik zou wel een proefabbo overwegen. Beetje afhankelijk van de uiteindelijke beeldkwaliteit.
Een upscaled 720 zit ik niet op te wachten.

Kan niet wachten tot dit in Nederland beschikbaar is.. toevallig ben ik er bij in Spanje maar had leuk geweest als ik mijn telefoon live kon gebruiken!

Liberty media is eigenaar van Ziggo, vandaar dat je het hier niet krijgt. Want anders snijden die vieze dik nekken in hun eigen portemonee. Want die F1 tv is goedkoper dan Ziggo racing.
