Martini en Belmondo vieren vandaag hun verjaardag

Twee oud Formule 1-coureur zijn vandaag jarig. De eerste luistert naar de naam Pierluigi Martini. Deze Italiaan heeft de leeftijd van 57 jaar bereikt. Martini deed in 1984 in eigen land namens Toleman een eerste poging om zich te kwalificeren voor een Grand Prix, wat mislukte. Het daaropvolgende seizoen reed hij het hele jaar voor Minardi. Na een paar jaar buiten de Formule 1 keerde hij in 1988 terug bij Minardi en later kwam hij nog uit voor Scuderia Italia. In totaal reed hij 119 Grands Prix en scoorde hij achttien punten.

De andere jarige is Paul Belmondo. Deze Fransman blaast 55 kaarsjes uit op zijn verjaardagstaart. Paul Belmondo is de zoon van acteur Jean-Paul Belmondo. In 1992 en 1994 beproefde hij zijn geluk bij achterhoedeteams March en Pacific. Hoewel zijn materiaal vaak te wensen overliet, was Belmondo zelf ook bepaald geen hoogvlieger. In 27 pogingen kwalificeerde hij zich zeven keer voor een Grand Prix. Punten verzamelde hij niet.

De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Martini en Belmondo.

@ERWINNAAR, heb hem nog op zolder liggen, met originele doos haha. Moet eens wat vaker opruimen misschien... Op markplaats wordt hij nog aangeboden. En als je m niet wilt kopen zal er ook wel ergens een VM''tje online te vinden zijn waar deze op draait, gewoon even googlen
