Domenicali doet afstand van rol als vice-president bij FOTA

Ferrari-teambaas Stefano Domenicali heeft een stap terug gedaan bij teamverbond FOTA. De Italiaan zal dit jaar niet als vice-president bij de bond fungeren. Domenicali maakte dat bekend tijdens een persbijeenkomst in Madonna di Campiglio.

Het is nog niet duidelijk wie de plek van de Ferrari-teambaas over neemt. Domenicali bevestigde wel dat McLaren-teambaas Martin Whitmarsh aanblijft als voorzitter van de FOTA. De verwachting is dat de bond binnen enkele dagen de nieuwe invulling van de posities aankondigt.
