Pirelli nomineert hard, medium en soft voor Groot Brittannië

Bandenleverancier Pirelli heeft de compounds bekend gemaakt voor de Grand Prix van Groot-Brittannië. Het is de eerste keer dat Pirelli de ijsblauwe variant 'hard' heeft genomineerd dit seizoen.

Behalve de harde compound zijn ook medium en soft opgenomen voor de Grand Prix op het circuit van Silverstone. De coureurs moeten één setje van de zachtst beschikbare band reserveren voor het geval dat ze Q3 halen. Van iedere compound moet er minimaal 1 set worden meegenomen door de teams en de andere tien setjes mogen de teams zelf kiezen waarmee het totaal op dertien komt.
