Pirelli verruilt supersofts voor hypersofts in Singapore

Tijdens de Grand Prix van Singapore zal de hypersoft-compound terugkeren. Dat heeft bandenfabrikant Pirelli bekendgemaakt. Vorig jaar nam Pirelli de softs, supersofts en ultrasofts mee, maar dit jaar wordt de supersoft-compound vervangen voor het hypersoft-rubber.

De bandenkeuze houdt in dat in Singapore de zachte compound geldt als hardste van de drie. Het verschil tussen de hardste compound en de medium-band (ultrasoft) is dus vrij groot. Het zachtste rubber zal, net als in Monaco en Canada, bestaan uit de hypersoft-band.

Vooralsnog zijn de bandenkeuzes van Pirelli al bekendgemaakt tot en met de Grand Prix van Hongarije op 29 juli. Het rubber voor de races in Italië en België wordt later bekendgemaakt dan de banden voor Singapore, aangezien de laatste een vliegbestemming betreft.

    Na de eerste alinea was mij alles al duidelijk. Zo ingewikkeld is het allemaal niet.
    Maar dat daarna in de 2e alinea nog een opsomming komt, waarin staat dat soft het hardst is en ultrasoft medium genoemd wordt had voor mij niet nodig geweest. Als dit een voorproefje op volgend seizoen is mag het van mij bij het oude blijven.

    Wel top dat ze weer een compound overslaan, mogen ze van mij veel vaker doen!

      Snap wat je bedoelt, maar het klopt wel wat er staat. Probleem is gewoon dat Pirelli met gekke namen op de proppen komt. Ik vind het zelf bijvoorbeeld grappig dat ze naast de soft en de supersoft gedacht moeten hebben: 'shit, we moeten nog 2 vergrotende trappen bedenken, dan maar ultra en hyper'.

      Er staan ook geen fouten in, maar als ze gewoon zeggen Pirelli selecteert hyper, ultra en soft is het wat mij betreft duidelijk.
      Dat van die namen is idd een aanfluiting, bij supersoft begon het eigenlijk al mis te gaan...

      Formule 1 moet niet alleen mensen trekken die de formule 1 al jaren volgen en snappen. Maar ook nieuwe mensen.

      daarvoor is de nieuwe aanpak veel beter, van mij mogen ze de namen zoals als hypersoft ook weg doen en gewoon 1 tm 7 doen waar bij 1 het zachtste is en 7 de meest harde.

      de namen zijn idd best belachelijk, maar ik vind elke week verschillende kleurtjes op zich wel leuk.

      Volgend seizoen komen er gewoon 3 kleuren. Een beetje als wat Bridgestone deed met de groene streep en de streeploze maar dan met 3 keuzes. Bridgestone nam bijna elk weekend andere soort samenstellingen mee en wij als kijker zagen het verschil niet behalve de groenen streep en de streeploze band.

      Heel simpel nummer de banden van 0 tot de aantal compounds.

      Hard: 1
      Medium: 2
      Soft: 4

      Zo zie je meteen de impact en de nummertjes kan je terugvinden op de lijst met welke band er echt gebruikt wordt. Op een gegeven moment kent iedereen die nummertjes wel.

    Nu ze het compount tussen de 2 hardste eruit hebben gehaald lijkt het mij sterk dat men in de wedstrijd de softs gaat gebruiken.........ten minste misschien Mercedes als ze echt veel sneller zijn dan de rest op de softs maar ben er bang voor. Wel zin in deze race waar hopelijk een 1 stopper nu zeker niet zal worden gekozen en ook niet mogelijk zonder op de softs te rijden.........
