Pirelli neemt hypersofts mee naar Russische Grand Prix

De hypersoft-band zal ook tijdens de Russische Grand Prix ingezet worden. Dat meldt Autosport. Pirelli kondigde eerder al aan dat de zachtste bandencompound in Singapore gebruikt zou worden, maar daar komt de race in Sotsji nu dus bij.

Voor Rusland neemt Pirelli naast de hypersofts ook de ultrasofts en het soft-rubber mee. De supersoft-band wordt dus overgeslagen, om het racen interessanter te maken. Twee weken eerder worden dezelfde bandencompounds gebruikt tijdens de Grand Prix van Singapore. 

Het lijkt erop dat de hypersoft-band ook gebruikt zal worden tijdens de seizoensfinale in Abu Dhabi, maar dat is nog niet officieel door Pirelli bevestigd. Eerder dit jaar was de zachtste compound present tijdens de Grand Prix van Monaco en Canada.

    Dit jaar maakt het toch weinig uit welke banden je onder je auto zet. Ik zag de voorgaande jaren veel meer verschillen tussen de diverse compounds. Nu kan je 58 ronden rijden op de Ultrasofts.. Dat kan toch niet?!

    Ze rijden in rusland nog kinderlijk eenvoudig 30 ronden op de hypersoft.
    Waarom dan nog de soft meenemen? De enige die daar op zal rijden is kneus Ericsson die daarmee hoopt op een godswonder dat toch niet komt.

    Het zou toch veel spannender worden wanneer de teams zelf mochten bepalen welke compounds ze meenemen?
    En tijdens de race wel gewoon op 2 verschillende compounds gebruiken.
    Dan krijg je veel meer verschillende strategieen.

    Ik snap dat gewoon niet laat dan de UltraSoft thuis zodat er snelheids verschillen komen.
    Nu word het kwalificeren op Hyper en uitrijden op Ultra.
    Ik denk dat een tweestopper op Hyper, SuperSoft en Hyper een leukere wedstrijd had opgebracht
