Vijay Mallya wil speciaal resultaat tijdens 200e Grand Prix

De Grand Prix van Oostenrijk betekent een speciaal moment voor het team van Force India. Het team dat rijdt onder de vlag van India rijdt haar 200e Grand Prix in de Formule 1. Eigenaar Vijay Mallya zal er niet bij aanwezig zijn doordat zijn thuisland India hem zoekt en zijn paspoort ingenomen heeft.

Uiteraard leeft Mallya enorm mee met zijn team en wil hij een speciaal resultaat zien: "Na een uitdagend weekend in Frankrijk hopen we dat Oostenrijk ons beter gezind is. Het is onze 200e race als team en het zou leuk zijn om deze mijlpaal te vieren met een speciaal resultaat. Het is een lange reis geweest sinds 2008 en ik ben oprechts trots op de resultaten die we hebben neergezet, in het bijzonder in 2016 en 2017."

"Het is een extreem drukke tijd in het seizoen, met vier races in vijf weken waarbij het gevecht in de middenmoot erg close is. We zullen hard blijven werken aan de voorkant van het middenveld de komende races om successen te boeken."
