Latifi in actie in eerste training Duitse Grand Prix

Nicholas Latifi rijdt de eerste vrije training voor de Grand Prix van Duitsland voor het team van Force India. De Canadees reed eerder al een training tijdens zijn thuisrace en krijgt nu dus opnieuw de kans om te laten zien wat hij kan.

Latifi vervult dit jaar de rol van test- en reservecoureur van Force India en in die hoedanigheid zal hij ook aantreden tijdens de testdagen op de Hungaroring in de zomer. De Canadees komt in actie op 31 juli, terwijl de tweede testrijder Nikita Mazepin op 1 augustus achter het stuur van de VJM11 kruipt.

Momenteel is Latifi bezig aan zijn derde volledige seizoen in de Formule 2, voorheen de GP2. De Canadees rijdt voor het derde jaar op rij voor DAMS, maar echt hoge ogen heeft hij nog niet kunnen gooien. Op dit moment staat Latifi dertiende in de stand om het kampioenschap.
