Bottas niet bezorgd door incidenten met Ferrari-rijders

Valtteri Bottas maakt zich naar eigen zeggen geen zorgen over het verloop van het kampioenschap na de recente incidenten van hem en teamgenoot Lewis Hamilton met de Ferrari-rijders. De Fin is van mening dat dergelijke aanvaringen onderdeel zijn van de strijd om de titel.

"Ik kan niet zeggen dat ik bezorgd ben", aldus Bottas tegenover Crash.net. "Ik denk dat we altijd min of meer op dezelfde posities starten, dus er zal altijd gestreden worden. Soms word je geraakt en normaal gesproken gebeurt dat met auto's die anders zijn dan die van jou."

"We vechten hard en dan kunnen dergelijke zaken gebeuren", vervolgt de Fin. "Het zijn ook maar een paar incidenten geweest. Toch is het natuurlijk erg nadelig voor ons", besluit Bottas, die zijn kansen op een goed resultaat in Frankrijk in rook zag opgaan na een touché van Sebastian Vettel.
