De Ferran over McLaren: "We moeten beter communiceren"

Gil de Ferran is van mening dat er beter gecommuniceerd moet worden binnen het team van McLaren. De Braziliaan is sinds kort sportief directeur van de renstal, aangesteld vlak na het vertrek van Eric Boullier. Volgens De Ferran heeft McLaren genoeg talentvolle mensen, maar is de communicatie niet goed genoeg.

“Ik denk dat Zak Brown het onlangs vrij aardig heeft uitgelegd", aldus De Ferran tegenover The Chequered Flag. "We moeten beter communiceren en meer transparantie binnen onze organisatie brengen. Daar ben ik het volledig mee eens."

"Gedurende de korte tijd dat ik hier rondloop, is me één ding heel duidelijk geworden, namelijk dat het hier een plek is vol met getalenteerde, gemotiveerde mensen", vervolgt De Ferran. "Ze geven om wat ze doen en ze geven veel om het succes van het bedrijf. Ikzelf probeer te integreren en wil iedereen de juiste kant op sturen."

    Verdomd intressant... geeuw.... Echte nikszeggend manager,s blah blah... voor je het weet gaat de hele crew een dagje kanoën in de ardennen ,of paintballuuhhhh ,schijnt het ook nog steeds goed te doen,, om het onderlinge begrip,vertrouwen en communicatieve vaardigheden, en niet te vergeten de motivatie, op te krikken...

      Snap je reactie, maar er moet toch iets mis zijn dat dit team zo omlaag is gevallen. Ik weet de ins en outs niet van de bezetting, maar als het grotendeels dezelfde mensen zijn (in ieder geval kwalitatief)...

    Als je jarenlang denkt dat het alleen door Honda komt en je chassis toch niet heel goed blijkt te zijn dan gooi je dit niet even tijdens het seizoen om.

      Zou het niet gewoon zo zijn dat de werknemers zelf geroepen hebben dat het aan het chassis lag en niet aan Honda maar dat dat niet gezegd mocht worden? En dat hierdoor een sfeer is ontstaan dat het toch allemaal geen zin heeft om je best te doen want er word niet naar geluisterd.

    Beter communiceren en meer transparantie.
    Kortom, niemand weet wat de ander doet en alles gebeurt schimmig op de eigen afdeling. Elke afdeling heeft zijn managers aan het roer die niet samenwerken en allemaal voor eigenbelang gaan en niet luisteren naar de werkvloer.
    Als zo’n probleem dan tijdens een weekend op de hei wordt benoemd trekt iedereen zich terug in zijn schulp en is het beste idee dat gezamenlijk ontstaat:
    We geven elke medewerker die goed presteert een Bros/Snicker of Twix naar keuze.

    Klinkt als een behoorlijk doorsnee en “gezond” winstgevend bedrijf anno 2018.
    Waarom Eric er dan ook uit moest en de Zak, de verpersoonlijking van de bla bla manager, nog wel mocht blijven zitten is mij dan ook een groot raadsel.
