Pitstraat Hungaroring gezandstraald na incidenten DTM

De pitsstraat van de Hungaroring is aangepast voor de Formule 1 van komend weekend. Een aantal weken geleden deed de DTM het Hongaarse circuit aan, maar de ondergrond voor de garages was zo glad, dat verschillende rijders zich vergaloppeerden in regenachtige condities.

Om te voorkomen dat er ook dit weekend incidenten plaatsvinden in de pitsstraat, heeft de organisatie de ondergrond voor de garages gezandstraald. Hierdoor is het oppervlak minder glad en is de kans dat een coureur doorglijdt of spint aanzienlijk kleiner.
