Rowland gaat met 'Volwassen aanpak' voor Formule 1 stoeltje

Oliver Rowland zou in 2019 dolgraag op de Formule 1-grid staan, maar de Brit wil dit niet koste wat kost bereiken. Rowland is naar eigen zeggen tevreden over zijn huidige functie en de Williams-tester merkt dat er jongere talenten klaarstaan in de rij naar de Formule 1.

"Er kloppen heel wat mensen op de deur en zij zijn erg jong", aldus Rowland tegenover Crash.net. "Ik ben erg blij met waar ik op dit moment zit. De relatie met het team wordt sterker en ik geniet van het werk dat ik verricht in de fabriek."

"Ik moet op dat gebied blijven werken en zorgen dat ik doe wat ik kan voor het team en dan zien we wel waar dat toe leidt. Ik zou graag de kans hebben gehad om wat meer te kunnen laten zien wat ik kan, maar ik denk dat ik het met een volwassen aanpak moet doen."
