A10 World Series kopieert A1 Grand Prix met landenteams

De A10 World Series heeft nieuwe informatie wereldkundig gemaakt over de nieuwe raceserie. Uit de opmaak van de teams blijkt duidelijk de doorstart van de A1 Grand Prix. Renstallan gaan namelijk landen vertegenwoordigen.

Rijders moeten uit het land komen waarvoor ze in actie komen. Teams zijn in staat om twee coureurs gedurende een raceweekend in te zetten. De serie maakt geen klassement voor de rijders op, alle punten worden aan de landen toegekend.

    Wel verschrikkelijk orgineel..

    Wat ik me alleen afvraag, zijn de teams die in de A1 meededen nog wel bereid om weer mee te doen aan een dergelijke klasse? Want ik ben veel meer benieuwd naar hoe financiëel zekerder het is dan de A1..

      Was het niet zo dat de teams in A1GP geld kregen van de organisatie om te racen. Zeker in het begin was dat zo.

      Er stond ook niet veel sponsoring op de auto\'s toch?

      Die Sheikh Al Maktoum die had er veel geld in gestoken. Maar het heeft hem volgens mij bar weinig opgeleverd.

      En Texeira was qua organisatie nog erger misschien dan die Sheikh. Investeren in dure Ferrari\'s terwijl je daar geen geld voor hebt.

      Er moet een goede organisator achter zitten willen ze dit levensvatbaar houden. Maar ik hoop dat het gewoon lukt, want A1GP was in de winter maanden altijd wel een leuke bezigheid.

      Maktoum is er naar het eerste jaar uitgestapt en zijn deel verkocht. Duidelijk een man met visie. Die Tony T heeft het daarna gerund.

      Waarom zou je origineel moeten zijn? Beter een formule goed gejat, dan slecht bedacht (zoals de Superleague). Hopelijk doet Nederland ook weer mee!

      Aangezien ze alles kopieeren van de A1GP-klasse, durf ik de gok wel aan om te zeggen dat ze in de winter gaan racen. Daarnaast hebben we al meer dan genoeg race klasses voor in de zomer, dus zo\'n nieuwe klasse zou daar alleen maar onder te lijden hebben. Met GP2, F2, Euro F3, Brits F3, GP3, Superleague Formula, AutoGP, WSR en al die andere opstartklasses, heeft A10 hier niks te zoeken (of te vinden).

    Als je alles zo op een rijtje zet zijn er inderdaad wel erg veel klassen.
    Toch was de A1 wel een aparte klasse met die landenteams. Het kwam alleen niet echt van de grond.

    Toch ben ik wel blij dat het weer terug is. Vond het altijd wel leuk en ben destijds ook nog naar Zandvoort geweest. Hopelijk wordt het nu wel wat! Racen tijdens de winter.. .ideaal.
