COTA krijgt vergunning voor bouw appartementen bij circuit

Het is de droom van iedere autosportfanaat. De kans hebben voor het raam van je eigen huis Formule 1 auto's te zien voorbijkomen op een speciaal gebouwd circuit en daarnaast op hetzelfde circuit weer te kunnen vertrekken in je eigen auto. Volgens Motorsportweek gaat dat de in de toekomst gebeuren. 

Voor een aantal gelukkigen gaat dat werkelijkheid worden op het Circuit of the Americas tijdens de Grand Prix van de Verenigde Staten. Het circuit heeft toestemming gekregen om vier luxe appartementencomplexen te mogen bouwen. 90% van het circuit zal te zien zijn en de start van de werkzaamheden staat gepland voor eind 2019.

Daarbij zullen ook glazen garages worden gebouwd waarin de bewoners hun eigen auto's kunnen tonen. Wanneer je geen eigen sportauto hebt, is dat geen probleem. Er zijn maar liefst 40 auto's te leen. Je zult wel wat geld achter de hand moeten hebben. Wil je het kleinste pakket, dan ben je 1,5 miljoen dollar kwijt. Maar wil je het er goed van nemen en alleen genieten van het beste van het beste, dan zul je 8,9 miljoen dollar moeten aftikken.

      Wel een ingenieuze manier om je circuit rendabeler te maken. Als je even verder doordenkt zie ik wel mogelijkheden.

      Is denk ik wel duur om te bouwen. Moet zeker overal kogelvrij glas hebben vanwege de mogelijkheid dat een gelanceerde auto door je voorruit vliegt :D

      Die glazen garage is niet standaard of verplicht , dus je kan altijd nog voor een gewone kanteldeur gaan .
      Dus dat probleem is opgelost .

      Nu de rest nog . Wil je dubbelglas of enkel , vloerbedekking of parket , enz.....
      Kom je uit op iets meer dan een miljoentje, so what .

    Beetje OT: De promotor van Spa heeft gezegd dat hij GEEN veto mag uitspreken over een eventuele Nederlandse GP in de toekomst, dus in Belgie kunnen ze dit niet tegenhouden.

    Dit onderwerp is n.l. ook wel eens ter sprake gekomen op het forum.
