Lauda boekt vooruitgang in revalidatie na longtransplantatie

Niki Lauda maakt vooruitgang sinds hij een longtransplantatie onderging in de zomerpauze. Dat meldt OE24. Volgens de publicatie is de Oostenrijker een voorbeeldige patiënt, die langzamerhand steeds een beetje beter wordt.

Lauda ligt nog altijd op de intensive care in het ziekenhuis van Wenen, nadat hij gedurende de zomerpauze een longtransplantatie onderging. Een bron meldt OE24 dat Lauda 'zich de ene dag beter voelt en veel praat, maar er zijn ook slechtere dagen'.

"Hij neemt actief deel aan de fysieke therapie en hij oefent zijn ademhalingsbewegingen en spieren. We hebben goede hoop op herstel", vervolgt de bron. Lauda miste twee Grands Prix vanwege zijn ziekte en het is onduidelijk wanneer de Oostenrijker terugkeert als Mercedes-voorzitter.

Ik zou zijn genuanceerde opmerkingen wel missen .
