Sleutelfiguren rijdersmarkt aan het woord tijdens persconferentie op Spa

Tijdens de officiële persconferentie voorafgaand aan de Grand Prix van België, zullen alle sleutelfiguren van de afgelopen weken aanwezig zijn. Het wordt een uitgebreide zit, aangezien de persconferentie in meerdere delen is opgesplitst. 

In de eerste persconferentie van donderdag, die om 15.00 uur Nederlandse tijd begint, schuiven vier coureurs aan: Fernando Alonso, Pierre Gasly, Daniel Ricciardo en Carlos Sainz. Dit viertal stond de afgelopen weken in het middelpunt toen de rijdersmarkt losbarstte. 

Het tweede deel van de persconferentie volgt direct na de eerste zitting. Dan zullen Marcus Ericsson, Lance Stroll, Stoffel Vandoorne en Max Verstappen aanwezig zijn. De laatste twee rijden een thuiswedstrijd, waardoor zij veel steun vanuit het publiek kunnen verwachten.

Vrijdag is het de beurt aan de Formule 1-teambazen. In het eerste deel, dat om 13.00 uur Nederlandse tijd aanvangt, zitten Cyril Abiteboul (Renault), Gil de Ferran (McLaren) en Christian Horner (Red Bull Racing). In de aansluitende tweede sessie is het de beurt aan Otmar Szafnauer (Force India), Franz Tost (Toro Rosso) en Claire Williams (Williams).

Het enige dat ik ben tegen gekomen is een klagende verlierer in de vorm van Mazapin Sr.

    Ik denk dat Lance en Stoffel veel vragen gaan krijgen over hun toekomst

      Daar kan je van opaan.
      Verwacht ook geen rare opmerking van Stoffel, die kerel is slim genoeg om professioneel te blijven.

      Wat Stroll betreft lijkt nog iets geks in de maak.
      Blijkbaar zijn er problemen met de overname van FI.

      Ik denk niet dat er problemen zijn met de overname, dat Lance deze race niet in de FI zit getuigd dat Lawerence Stroll nig een greintje zakelijkheid en realistisch besef heeft.

      Papa Mazepin had ook een bod op FI gedaan, en spant nu een rechtzaak aan omdat hij van onregelmatigheden spreekt in de verkoop. Hij wil zo zelf FI nog kunnen kopen.

      Ik denk dat het probleem betreft FI vrij simpel is, het team is overgenomen door verschillende investeerders waaronder dus Stroll.
      Ik denk dat het enige probleem de bezetting van de zitjes is, beide huidige rijders Ocon en Perez hebben contracten, mogelijk zijn de andere investeerders het niet zo eens om Lance Stroll daarin te plaatsen ipv huidige rijders, vanwege hoge kosten om contracten te ontbinden en laten we niet vergeten dat de prestatie's van Stroll, die niet in de buurt komen dan die van Ocon en Perez. Dus ik zie het niet als vanzelfsprekend dat Lance daar even een stoeltje krijgt, dit seizoen al helemaal niet, misschien volgend jaar ( als hij zijn prestatie's verbeterd )

      @hennie013 bij mij weten zijn de contracten van Perez en Ocon aan het eind van dit jaar verlopen. Dus voor 2019 zijn de stoeltjes vrij.

      Het is wel meer dan een klagende Mazepin.
      Wat wimpipedia schrijft is er boenk op.
      Er schijnt een rechtzaak aangespannen te zijn tegen Stroll in verband met de overname van FI.
      Die overname kan dus nog een staartje krijgen.

      Stoffel is een Belg
      Max is in België geboren en heeft een Belgisch paspoort, maar rijdt onder de Nederlandse vlag. Volgens zijn moeder (interview 2015) alleen een Belgisch paspoort. Op Wiki staat dat hij Beide Nationaliteiten heeft, maar in principe blijft hij dan meer Belg dan Nederlander in mijn ogen.

      Moeten we toch niet zo veel vragen over stellen, maakt het uit je bent fan van een rijder voor meer dan enkel het vlaggetje!

      Ik beschouw Nederlanders ook niet echt als buitenlanders maar meer als dichte buren.

      Voor alle duidelijkheid, ik zei dat Sainz zelf besloten heeft niet op de
      aanbieding van RBR in te gaan.

      Sainz zelf heeft echter in Assen verklaard dat hij hoopt dat er wél
      een keer een stoeltje voor hem bij RBR komt, waaruit blijkt dat hij
      geen aanbod heeft gehad.

      Helmut Marko heeft zich er nog niet over uitgelaten.
