Vandaag zijn de vrije trainingen geweest voor de Grand Prix van Italië. Dat zorgde voor twee totaal verschillende sessies. De eerste vrije training was nat en er werd verrassend veel gereden, maar er waren geen crashes. Die was er in de droge tweede vrije training zeker wel. Marcus Ericsson crashte hard aan het einde van het rechte stuk, omdat zijn achtervleugel open bleef staan. Ook Sebastian Vettel kende een schuiver en raakte licht de bandenstapels.
