Jackie Stewart heeft zich verbonden aan Genii Business Exchange om de zakenrelaties van Lotus Renault GP tijdens raceweekenden te vermaken. Dat maakte Genii-baas en mede-eigenaar van Renault, Gerard Lopez, in Valencia bekend.

Lopez sprak vol trots over de nieuwe vorm, kleuren en uitstraling van Lotus Renault GP. "Dit is een speciaal moment, deze R31 is de eerste auto honderd procent volgens de filosofie van Genii. Natuurlijk met dank aan onze partners, zoals Renault."

"Podiumplekken en overwinningen zijn het doel. Het kleurenschema is eveneens speciaal voor mij. Met mijn eerste zakgeld kocht ik in een ver verleden een zwart gouden Lotus uit de jaren zeventig, dus dat wij er nu ook zo uitzien betekent veel voor me."
