FIA gaat akkoord met regelwijzigingen voor 2019

Er zullen in 2019 weer een aantal reglementswijzigingen doorgevoerd worden in de Formule 1. Het World Motor Sport Council van de FIA is vrijdagavond akkoord gegaan met een aantal voorstellen, waaronder de verticale regenlichtjes op de endplates van de achtervleugel.

Het WMSC heeft over hele uiteenlopende zaken een besluit genomen. Zo komt er een vast moment waarop coureurs met een ronde achterstand de safety car mogen passeren. Daarnaast wordt krijgt het zwaaien van de finishvlag minder waarde: vanaf 2019 wordt een led-paneel met een virtuele geblokte vlag leidend in het aangeven van het einde van de wedstrijd. Dat betekent echter niet dat de finishvlag helemaal verdwijnt. Ook is de avondklok voor al het personeel van de teams in duur verlengd van 8 naar 9 uur.

Ook een aantal voorstellen van de Strategy Group werden door het WMSC aangenomen. De spiegels en de hoogte van de achtervleugels worden aangepast, zodat het zicht naar achteren beter wordt. Er worden regenlichtjes aan de endplates van de achtervleugel toegevoegd voor beter zicht in het donker en er worden kleine aanpassingen gedaan aan de halo, zodat coureurs makkelijker uit hun bolide gehaald kunnen worden na een ongeluk.

Aha, de Halo moet al worden aangepast en echt belangrijke regelwijzigingen om het spektakel te verbeteren blijven uit...

Reflector in de vleugel. Mooi kunnen de fietsers ze ook duidelijk zien op de baan. Want dat was echt een gemis op de f1 wagens.
Jammer dat ze geen claxon krijgen...

  Ze moeten nu ook hun hand uitsteken als ze in gaan halen en/of de pitstraat in gaan? Waar is eigenlijk de zebrapaden tegenwoordig? Oh wacht, de 'virtuele geblokte vlag'! waarschijnlijk! Dat is me toch zo gevaarlijk als vroeger men een mannetje met een groene vlag achter liep als de auto 'gelockt' stonden.

Een regel die zeker moest ,is dat bij virtuele saftycar de snelheid in de pits dezelfde moet zijn zoals op de baan dat is 80k en geen 100 zoals nu dit is competitie vervalsing ze winnen daar 5 a 6 sec mee zoals vettel in Australië is dat eerlijk racen?
