Teams bereiden zich voor op testweek in Jerez

Donderdag start de tweede testsessie ter voorbereiding op het nieuwe seizoen. Locatie is nu het Circuito de Jerez. De teams zijn ondertussen volop bezig aan de voorbereidingen op de naderende testweek en de redactie van F1Today.nl was getuige.

De renstallen beschouwen de test in Jerez als de eerste serieuze meting voor de snelheid, vooral als het droog blijft. De nieuwe McLaren, Force India en Virgin Racing maken donderdag hun debuut tussen de anderen. Lokale weersvoorspellingen geven echter regen aan, in elk geval voor het weekend.

De teams bouwen in ontspannen sfeer de pitboxen op, onder het geluid van luide muziek. Scuderia Toro Rosso verft de vloer in de garage nog even. Hispania Racing is trouwens nog niet aanwezig. Red Bull Racing houdt vandaag een filmdag in Jerez.

    Hier zal gauw meer duidelijk worden wie waar ongeveer staat, ik ben benieuwd, zeker wat betreft virgin en lotus.
