Sainz voelt zich bevoorrecht om voor McLaren te mogen rijden

Carlos Sainz is vol energie aangekomen bij zijn nieuwe team McLaren en die energie is alleen maar meer geworden nu hij de mensen bij McLaren leert kennen. De Spanjaard voelt zich duidelijk al helemaal op zijn plek bij het Britse team.

"Ik ben hier na de test al een aantal keer geweest en eerlijk gezegd voelt het geweldig. Ik moet echter nog veel mensen ontmoeten. Tot nu toe heb ik eraan gewerkt om de test te analyseren en te zien wat we volgend jaar kunnen doen. Voor mij voelt het iedere keer weer speciaal om hier te komen. Ik voel me bevoorrecht."

"Het voelt als een eer om een deel van deze familie te zijn, maar ook om het optimisme en de blije gezichten te zien in de fabriek. Iedereen wil zich hier verbeteren. Waarschijnlijk had ik gedacht dat ik bij een team zou komen die blij zou zijn dat het seizoen voorbij was en zich wilde richten op volgend jaar."

"Maar daarentegen ben ik bij een team terechtgekomen dat aan het eind van het jaar nog steeds vol energie zit en dat is erg besmettelijk en aanstekelijk. Ik ben hier vol energie gekomen en ik wil eerst helemaal goed in het team komen te liggen, voordat we volgend jaar gaan racen", aldus Sainz tijdens zijn eerste officiële PR-verplichtingen voor McLaren.

Toch mijn favoriete team, alleen mijn favo coureur is Lewis, en het blok van Honda....dat zou pas 'n combinatie zijn.

    Zou mooi voor hem zijn als het nu eens wel goed uitpakte en tot die hard werkende mensen in de fabriek aankomend jaar ook eens reden tot juichen konden hebben.
