Robert Kubica is begonnen aan zijn revalidatieproces, zo heeft een van zijn behandelende doktoren vandaag gezegd. Vorige week onderging Kubica zijn laatste operatie en enkele dagen geleden mocht hij van de intensive care af. Hoelang de Pool nog in het ziekenhuis moet verblijven is nog niet duidelijk.

"Hij hoeft niet langer op de intensive care te liggen en is zelfs al begonnen aan zijn revalidatieproces", vertelde handspecialist Igor Rossello. "Hij heeft nu zijn eigen kamer waar hij zo comfortabel als mogelijk zal verblijven. We zijn al begonnen met enkele handoefeningen en hij kan zijn vingers al een beetje bewegen. Ook krijgt hij het gevoel weer terug in zijn vingers. Het belangrijkste is dat er op dit moment geen enkel teken is van een infectie."

"Ik heb hem vanochtend rond half 9 nog gezien en hij maakt het behoorlijk goed. Het goede nieuws is dat er na zjin operaties geen complicaties zijn opgetreden en zijn conditie gaat ook al vooruit. Hij heeft geen pijn meer en wilde natuurlijk zo snel mogelijk beginnen aan zijn revalidatie."

Rossello heeft nog geen idee hoelang Kubica in het ziekenhuis moet verblijven. "Hij zal de komende weken nog hier blijven zodat we zijn situatie in de gaten kunnen houden. Er kan natuurlijk altijd nog een infectie of andere complicaties optreden. Over twee weken zullen we de volgende stap gaan bepalen", aldus de handspecialist.

  Is idd balen voor hem. Zou sneu zijn voor hem als Heidfeld voor de podium zal strijden, wat niet ondenkbaar is, met deze auto. En natuurlijk een coureur uit de buitencategorie...

Zo te lezen gaat het e.e.a. erg vlot!

Ik hoop dat Kubica voldoende hersteld, maar aan de andere kant gun ik Heidfeld ook een goed seizoen met de R31!

  Dat zie ik ook nog wel gebeuren. Best grappig als dat dan gebeurd. Petrov zal waarschijnlijk verslagen worden door Heidfeld waardoor we in 2012 het oude \'BMW team\' weer op de grid hebben staan. :)

ben eens benieuwd wanneer hij weer wilt gaan lopen enz...
pfff moet er niet aan denken om daar nu te liggen, op zo een moment krijg je wel respect voor de medemens... of et nu een coureur is of jan met de korte achternaam. wat een wilskracht moet men bezitten om hier weer bovenop te kunnen komen...
