Timo Glock rekent op spoedig herstel na blindedarmoperatie

Virgin Racing-coureur Timo Glock gaat ervan uit dat hij snel weer de oude is. De Duitser is succesvol geopereerd aan zijn blindedarm. Het is niet aannemelijk dat Glock volgende week in Barcelona van de partij is om te testen, maar zijn deelname aan de eerste Grand Prix van 2011 loopt geen gevaar.

Ik ben heel blij dat de operatie goed is verlopen en ik verwacht een spoedig herstel. Het is wel jammer dat ik de testsessie in Barcelona waarschijnlijk mis. Zonder blindedarm zal ik zeker sneller zijn. Dat scheelt minstens een paar gram aan gewicht, sluit de Virgin Racing-coureur af met een grap.
