Zuid-Korea verlaagt toegangsprijzen voor Grand Prix

De organisatie van de Grand Prix van Zuid-Korea vermindert de prijs voor tickets voor de race van dit jaar. Kaarten voor de editie van 2011, op 16 oktober, kosten nu gemiddeld 315.000 won, ongeveer 184 euro. En deze maand geldt een aanbieding van alles voor de halve prijs.

Vorig jaar bedroeg de gemiddelde prijs 460.000 won, ongeveer 270 euro. Naar schatting 170.000 toeschouwers bezochten het eerste Formule 1-weekend op het circuit Yeongam. Park Yoon-Young, baas van de organisatiecomité voor de Grand Prix van Zuid-Korea, vertelde aan Reuters: Dit jaar proberen we de kaartverkoop een impuls te geven, de advertentie-inkomsten te verbeteren en alle operationele aspecten in orde te maken. Ik weet dat er controverse over onze constructie en toegangsprijzen bestond. We doen ons best zodat autosport zich kan ontwikkelen tot belangrijk onderdeel van de vrijetijdsbesteding in ons land.
