Bekijk hier de eerste editie van het Formula 1 Season Launch-event

Formula 1 heeft vanochtend haar eerste Season Launch gehouden op Federation Sqaure in Melbourne.

Tijdens de presentatie werden alle coureurs en teambazen aan de fans voorgesteld. De presentatie was in handen van oud Formule 1-coureur Mark Webber en Virgin Australia Supercar-host Jessica Yates.

Tijdens de presentatie werden er vragen gesteld die door de fans zijn ingezonden. Elk team kreeg haar eigen moment op het podium. Het event werd afgetrapt door Williams en besloten door Mercedes.

Het is blijkbaar nooit goed. Misschien is het niet super spectaculair oid maar ze proberen in ieder geval de F1 dichter bij de fans te krijgen. Leuk als je daar ter plaatse bent lijkt mij.

    Man, man, man wat een kansloze vertoning. Zelfs bij Trumps inauguratie was het drukker. En de vragen ook, zulke indringende vragen krijgen ze niet vraag... Nog erger dan een gemiddelde voetbal persconferentie.

      Dit is niets voor jou, maar gelukkig is niet iedereen zo zwartgallig.....
      Gewoon leuk voor de fans die daar zijn, maar hier gaan we de boel zoals gewoonlijk weer heerlijk afzeiken......

      Dit was de eerste keer dat ze dit organiseren. Dacht je dat er gelijk honderdduizenden mensen op af zou komen en dat het gelijk een groot succes zal zijn? Ieder nieuw te organiseren evenement moet groeien. Ik ga er vanuit dat ze alles mee zullen nemen tijdens hun evaluatie en waar nodig is verbeteringen aanbrengen.
      Lekker makkelijk om vanuit je luie stoel te gaan lopen zeiken en klagen.

      Volgens mij zei Ricciardo zelfs iets van: wow, what a crowd, so many people even all the way to the back.
      Moest toen ook een beetje aan Trumps inauguratie denken ;-)
      Het event moet nog groeien denk ik. Wel leuk dat ze het doen.

    Snap de kritiek niet zo, was een prima event. Mooie primer voor de mensen die via de Netflix serie geïnteresseerd zijn geraakt.

    Die Chemical Brothers track is een mooie jam, head bop iedere keer.

    Hahahaha die Lewis schrikt gewoon van interviewster Rosanna, ze zat ook wel echt bijna in zijn face.

    Ik vind het geen meerwaarde hebben. Maar wel tof dat ze dit soort dingen proberen, ze doen toch hun best om de F1 dichter bij het publiek te krijgen. Hopelijk leren ze ervan en verbeteren ze het.

    Ik vind het idee van een launch event echt heel erg goed en ik denk echt wel dat het een succes gaat worden. En ik juich veranderingen alleen maar toe, mits het goed wordt afgewogen, getest, geevalueerd en als het niet werkt ook afscheid van durven nemen.
    Ik vind wel dat de start van het seizoen en zo'n launch event moet rouleren. Vergelijkbaar met de grand depart van de Tour de France.
    Zo krijgen liefhebbers uit andere landen en delen van de wereld ook de kans om zo'n groot en uniek evenement mee te maken.
