Colin Kolles: "Ik ben overtuigd van Tonio's kwaliteiten"

HRT bevestigde vanmiddag Vitantonio Liuzzi als tweede coureur bij het team voor 2011. De Italiaan, die enkele maanden geleden door Force India aan de kant is geschoven, heeft eerder al eens samengewerkt met HRT-teambaas Colin Kolles waardoor de twee geen onbekenden voor elkaar zijn.

"Ik ken Tonio al enkele jaren en hij heeft in de lagere klassen al eens voor me gereden", vertelde Kolles. "Het is een erg professionele coureur en zijn komst is echt positief voor het team. Ik ben overtuigd van zijn kwaliteiten, zijn snelheid en dat hij een auto kan ontwikkelen. Dit heeft hij in het verleden al vaak laten zien door een auto van de achterkant van de grid naar voren te helpen."

"Het is erg prettig werken met hem en ik ben trots dat hij deel uitmaakt van Hispania Racing", aldus Kolles.
