Begrafenis Lauda vindt woensdag plaats in Wenen

Niki Lauda zal aankomende woensdag begraven worden. De begrafenis van de drievoudig Formule 1-kampioen vindt plaats in de Stephansdom in Wenen en onder andere de Oostenrijkse president zal aanwezig zijn.

De begrafenis van Lauda zal woensdag rond 13.00 uur beginnen en open zijn voor het publiek. Verwacht wordt dat een aantal figuren uit de Formule 1 hun gezicht zullen laten zien bij de ceremonie in de Stephansdom, een ruim 800 jaar oude kathedraal in de Oostenrijkse hoofdstad Wenen. Vooral van Mercedes wordt verwacht dat er veel bekende gezichten te zien zullen zijn, aangezien Lauda tot zijn dood een functie binnen het Formule 1-team vervulde. Ook de Oostenrijkse president Alexander van der Bellen zal naar verwachting aanwezig zijn.

Ook tijdens het Grand Prix-weekend in Monaco zijn er een groot aantal eerbetonen aan Lauda. De meeste Formule 1-teams rijden met een of meerdere stickers op de bolide om een laatste eerbetoon te brengen aan de Formule 1-legende. Zo heeft Mercedes de halo van de bolides rood gemaakt.

De Formule 1 houdt om 14.53 uur een minuut stilte ter nagedachtenis aan Lauda en verder heeft de organisatie gevraagd aan het publiek om na de race mee te doen in het eerbetoon dat de sport wil brengen aan de Oostenrijker. Er werd aan de fans gevraagd om allen een rode pet op te doen na de race, iets wat de laatste jaren kenmerkend was voor Lauda. Ook mogen ze op een banner een boodschap overbrengen en de jachten naast het circuit wordt gevraagd om te toeteren na de race.

Wat een moraal weer hier, liedje over de overleden moeder van Niki Lauda, iedereen zingen en lachen. Zelfs Niki vind het prachtig,

( Mama Laudaaa" gilt als der Malle-Hit des Jahres 2018. Im Februar erschien der Debütsong des Krefelder Duos Specktakel. Das Lied sorgte unter anderem für gute Laune beim Après-Ski und Karneval. Jetzt begeistern die beiden Jungs auch das Partyvolk am Ballermann. Kürzlich hat sich endlich Niki Lauda (69) zu dem Song geäußert, für den er und seine Mutter unbewusst das Vorbild gewesen sind.

Ob im Bierzelt oder am Ballermann – sobald die Frage aufkommt, wie die Mutter von Niki Lauda heißt, grölen alle Gäste: "Mama Laudaaa, Mama Laudaaa!" Der Hype scheint an niemandem vorbeizugehen. So weiß natürlich auch der Ex-Formel 1-Fahrer schon darüber Bescheid. "Ja, den (Song, Anm. d. Red.) habe ich schon gehört. Hat mich sehr überrascht, aber finde ich lustig!", erklärte Niki in einem Interview mit der Bild, "Ich wurde schon oft darauf angesprochen, da kann man drüber schmunzeln.")

Referentie aan dit liedje, als een eer aan Niki, en ook om nog even die glimlach "schmunzeln." terug te halen, foei Bertrand, nu ga je te ver!
