Video's: Crashes en spectaculaire momenten in vrije training Sepang

Het was een spectaculaire eerste dag van het raceweekend in Maleisië. De verwachte regen is vooralsnog uitgebleven, maar enkele crashes zorgden toch voor een spectaculair verloop van de dag. Bekijk hieronder de afgebroken ophangingen bij Jerome D'Ambrosio en Vitaly Petrov en de ietwat knullige spin van Pastor Maldonado bij het inrijden van de pitstraat. Verder gaf de motor van Narain Karthikeyan bij het uitrijden van de pitstraat bijna meteen al de geest en kende Nick Heidfeld wat problemen met zijn remmen.

Jerome D'Ambrosio crasht na afbreken voorwielophanging




Ook Vitaly Petrov kende problemen met de ophanging van zijn Lotus Renault




Pastor Maldonado laat zien dat het inrijden van de pitstraat geen gemakkelijke opgave is




Nick Heidfeld blokkeert zijn voorbanden door een probleem met zijn remmen




Narain Karthikeyan rijdt nog een stuk door met een half dode motor

    Bizar. D\'Ambrosio en Petrov hebben problemen op precies hetzelfde stuk. Echter lijkt het erop dat bij Petrov eerst de band klapt,,,,. En wel apart dat D\'Ambrosio het rechts heeft en Petrov links.

    Met Maldonado krijg je bijna medelijden.

    En wat Karthikeyan doet is mij een raadsel. Wat was hij denkende? Dat ze teveel olie hadden gevuld? Dat de navebrander aanstond? Dat ze per ongeluk diesel hadden getankt? Laat ik het anders zeggen. WAAROM?!?! Rijd hij door?

      D´ambrosio is richting de laatste bocht, Petrov crasht in bocht 9, dus heel ergens anders, maar tis wel heel erg vreemd, zomaar uit het niets.

      of die HRT nu een werkende of een niet werkende motor heeft, hij rijd nog steeds even slecht. Moeilijk om het verschil te voelen voor Karthikeyan dus

    Die van Liuzzi was ook nog wel grappig. Vol over de kerbs en toen schakelde de auto compleet uit.
