Vanochtend kende Vitantonio Liuzzi geen vlekkeloze derde vrije training. De Italiaan reed met zijn HRT-bolide te hard over de kerbstones, waardoor de motor zichzelf automatisch uitschakelde. Nadat Liuzzi zijn bolide aan de kant had geparkeerd, werd deze weggeduwd door de marshalls. Hierbij zagen ze een collega-marshall echter over het hoofd...
