Trofeeën Grand Prix Abu Dhabi worden parfumflessen

De trofeeën die de coureurs ontvingen op het podium in Abu Dhabi hebben voor de Formule 1 als inspiratie gediend voor een reeks parfumflessen.

Door gebruik te maken van generatieve modellering en organische skeletstructuren, worden deze designer parfumflesjes 3D-geprint in metaal. Geproduceerd als een samenwerking tussen de Formule 1 en Designer Parfums, zijn de flessen het debuut van Formule 1 op de geurmarkt. De flesjes zijn bedoeld om de racebaan-geur te genereren. De designerparfums ruiken niet letterlijk naar brandend rubber, maar stimuleren een identieke weergave.

Zodra de parfums op zijn, kunnen de binnenkolven worden vervangen door nieuwe. Het concept zou zijn om de uiterlijke vorm van de fles te behouden. De flessen, zo luxueus als ze eruitzien, hebben een kostenplaatje om u tegen te zeggen. De oplages zijn beperkt tot 20 stuks per geur, elke fles kost 10.000 dollar. De designergeuren worden echter opnieuw uitgegeven in een goedkopere fles (opnieuw gemaakt door Lovegrove). De flessen komen begin april het komende jaar voor iedereen op de markt.
