Documentaire-reeks F2: Chasing the Dream nu te bekijken op F1 TV

De Formule 2 heeft haar eigen documentaire-reeks gekregen. Vanaf vandaag zijn de afleveringen van 'F2: Chasing the Dream' te bekijken voor de abonnees van streamingplatform F1 TV Pro en F1 TV Access.

In 'F2: Chasing the Dream' krijgen fans een kijkje in de keuken bij de gang van zaken in de laatste trede richting de Formule 1. Alle tien teams en hun coureurs waren betrokken bij de productie van de docu-serie, die vijf afleveringen bevat met een duur van tussen de 21 en 28 minuten. Voor de serie is gebruik gemaakt van beeldmateriaal uit de races, evenals exclusieve gesprekken met de coureurs en teamleden.

Een hele reeks onderwerpen passeert de revue in de serie over de Formule 2. Het debuut van Mick Schumacher in de klasse komt voorbij, evenals de race van Nyck de Vries richting de titel in het kampioenschap. Niet alleen de hoogtepunten worden teruggehaald: ook de tragische gebeurtenissen op Spa-Francorchamps, waar Anthoine Hubert het leven liet, komen voorbij in 'F2: Chasing the Dream'.

Met haar eigen docu-serie treedt de Formule 2 in de voetsporen van de Formule 1. Afgelopen maart lanceerde streamingplatform Netflix het eerste seizoen van 'Drive to Survive', waar aan de hand van enkele verhaallijnen een beeld geschetst wordt van hoe de Formule 1 in elkaar zit. Er komt een tweede seizoen van 'Drive to Survive'. De afleveringen werden in 2019 opgenomen en de verwachting is dat seizoen 2 van de serie nog voor de start van het nieuwe Formule 1-seizoen op Netflix te zien zijn.

zal ik dus niet kunnen zien, en ik meende hier een poos terug nogal wat negatieve ervaringen van F1 TV te lezen, nog maar even wachten met aanschaffen denk ik
