Formule 1 onthult nieuwe logo's ter ere van 70-jarig bestaan

De Formule 1 viert in 2020 haar 70ste verjaardag en dat laat de klasse niet onopgemerkt voorbijgaan. Speciaal voor het jubileum heeft de sport besloten om een aantal nieuwe logo's te introduceren.

In totaal onthulde de Formule 1 bij het begin van het nieuwe jaar drie nieuwe logo's. Het eerste logo betreft het huidige logo van de Formule 1, de gestileerde F1, waarin voor de gelegenheid een gestileerde 70 toegevoegd is. De alternatieve versie van dit logo is met de 70 uitgeschreven als 'Seventy', terwijl het derde logo de losstaande 70 is, met daaronder de woorden 'Born 1950'.

De logo's bestaan uit twee dikke, naast elkaar lopende lijnen. Hiermee wil de Formule 1 een eerbetoon brengen aan de circuits waarop de sport in de afgelopen 70 jaar gereden heeft. Bovendien is een van de doelstellingen van het ontwerp om zendgemachtigden, promotors, sponsoren en team in staat te stellen om hun eigen kleuren in de logo's te verwerken.

De Formule 1 heeft door de jaren heen meerdere keren gesleuteld aan het logo. De laatste verandering vond plaats in 2018, toen nieuwe eigenaren Liberty Media het vorige logo na 24 jaar dienst de deur uit deed. Dat besluit kon destijds rekenen op de nodige kritiek van zowel fans als coureurs. Ook in 2019 voerde de Formule 1 een bijzonder logo: dat gebeurde tijdens de Chinese Grand Prix, de 1000ste in de historie van de sport.

Ik moet zeggen de Amerikaanse invloed van Liberty op het promotionele vlak wel een + te vinden.

Het maakt de sport zelf (nog) niet beter, maar zou in de basis alvast wel nieuw publiek kunnen aantrekken.

Ik hoop dat de stagiaire de stage opdracht hiermee met voldoende punten heeft afgerond zodat deze wordt toegelaten op de kunstacademie.

Ik vind het in ieder geval helemáál niks!
Misschien zelfs nog inspiratielozer dan het het huidige 3M .... erhm, F1 logo.
Had dan de "F" van F1 gewoon omgedraaid om er een 7 van te creëren en er in hetzelfde font een "0" achter geplaatst.
Nou ja... dat zal wel.weer te makkelijk of voor de hand liggend zijn geweest om er een apart potje met budget voor vrij te maken.

  Waarschijnlijk was het een stagiair. Het 2de plaatje doet me denken aan game gigant SEGA qua logo. Totaal inspiratieloos dit. Maar wie viert er nou ook een 70 jarig jubileum... 75 staat beter.

Onpopulaire mening: ik vind het een goed logo. Zowel F1 als nu 70. Eenvoudig, herkenbaar, origineel, niets mis mee.

Toen het nieuwe logo zijn intrede maakte vond ik het helemaal niets! Nu ben ik er aan gewend en vind het op zich wel vet.

Halo btw... ook aan gewend maar nog steeds een gedrocht! (Neemt niets weg van zijn goeie functie)
