Japanse Grand Prix start in 2020 een uur eerder dan in 2019

De starttijd van de Grand Prix van Japan van 2020 is aangepast ten opzichte van vorig jaar. De race zal een uur eerder aanvangen en dat houdt in dat Nederlandse fans een uur eerder uit bed moeten komen.

In een eerder stadium onthulde de Formule 1 de starttijden van de sessies voor de overige 21 Grands Prix van 2020 al. Alleen de starttijden voor Japan werden nog niet vrijgegeven. Drie weken voor het begin van de wintertests in Barcelona is dat gat echter ook al opgevuld. De race op Suzuka, die op 11 oktober verreden wordt, zal om 13.10 uur lokale tijd aanvangen. Dat is om 6.10 uur Nederlandse tijd.

Op 9 oktober begint het Japanse GP-weekend met de eerste twee vrije trainingen, die tussen 4.00 en 5.30 uur, en 8.00 en 9.30 uur verreden worden. Voor zaterdag staan de derde vrije training (5.00 tot 6.00 uur) en de kwalificatie (8.00 tot 9.00 uur) op het programma.

  Joeppp: Ik waardeer je positieve insteek. Doorgaans heb ik die ook. Behalve in de ochtend. Dan ben ik gewoon een chagrijnig rotventje. Dus of je even je muil wil houden voor nog een half uurtje. (Je ziet, dat wordt wat tijdens de Japanse GP).

  Ik was "vroegûh" nóg wakker.
  Mijn lokale stamkroeg had veel F1 liefhebbers dus we bleven dan gewoon plakken tot ver na sluitingstijd.

  hier ook, nóg wakker, kwam rond die tijd wel ergens een café of discotheek (die had je toen nog) uit rollen, thuis op de bank een sloot met koffie naar binnen en meneer was er klaar voor
