Ferrari vandaag actief in Barcelona met filmdag

Afgelopen dagen was er al veel activiteit op het Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. McLaren had zondag een filmdag, gisteren kwamen Haas, Williams en Renault in actie op het Spaanse asfalt. Het komt niet vaak voor dat meerdere teams op dezelfde dag en op hetzelfde circuit filmen, maar gisteren bleek dat wel het geval.

Hoewel het dus niet gebruikelijk is, bleken de drie genoemde teams onderling afspraken te hebben gemaakt, zo melden bronnen aan onze redactie ter plaatse. In principe mochten de drie teams tegelijkertijd de baan op om te filmen, maar onderling is afgesproken respect te hebben voor de andere teams die filmen en niet 'door elkaar' heen te rijden. Er bleek te zijn afgestemd wie wanneer wat wilde filmen zodat het allemaal soepel verliep.

Ferrari filmt exclusief

Zoals vrijwel ieder jaar pakt Ferrari ook altijd uit op de filmdag in Barcelona. Het Italiaanse team wil altijd bewust de dag voor de eerste testsessie helemaal de baan voor zichzelf hebben. Dit heeft te maken met het uitlekken van beelden maar ook door zo dicht mogelijk bij de eerste testdag al enige data te kunnen vergaren die morgen vergeleken kan worden.

Ook dit jaar is dat het geval en het team uit Maranello is op het circuit te vinden met Charles Leclerc en Sebastian Vettel. Ferrari is altijd bang voor pottenkijkers en de beveiliging is flink opgeschroefd waardoor het circuit vrijwel hermetisch is afgesloten.

Ik snap het niet. Morgen staan er tientallen klaar met fotoapparatuur waarmee iedere zandkorrel op de bolides uitvergroot kan worden. Vandaag moet alles hermetiscch afgesloten worden want er zou toch 1 foto uitlekken

  Alle teams zijn al op het circuit, dus de eerste inkiekjes zullen zeer binnenkort al op diverse sites te zien zijn.

Als ik Red Bull was, zou ik nu al de laatste dag voor de eerste testsessie in Barcelona voor 2021 reserveren. Alleen al om Ferrari te irriteren. :-)

Nog 19 uurtjes en je kan ze allemaal zien. Ik snap dat geheimzinnige 15 uurtjes voor de testen echt niet. Alsof iedereen ineens alles gaat kopieren......

  Rijwind is rijwind, ongeacht de banden die eronder zitten. Vandaar dat ze ook soms in de GP-trainingen met flow fish rondrijden. Ze zouden dus zoals Joeppp aangeeft bepaalde onderdelen (aerodynamische onderdelen bijvoorbeeld) op de auto kunnen zetten om te kijken wat het effect is.

Vergeet niet dat ferrari het meest succesvolle team is in de f1 aller tijden
De statistieken liegen er niet om ferrari gaat er aan komen dat is onvermijdbaar....Dus kort om voor de geduldige ferrari fans komen er mooie tijden aan
