Alfa Romeo haalt grap uit mensen die nieuwe livery proberen te achterhalen

De Alfa Romeo C39 kwam vrijdag voor het eerst de baan en dat gebeurde met een alternatieve livery. De uiteindelijke livery moet nog bekend worden, maar het Italiaans-Zwitserse team probeert die nog geheim te houden.

De officiële presentatie van de C39 vindt woensdagochtend om 8.15 uur plaats in de pits van het Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. De vormen van de nieuwe bolide waren al wel zichtbaar toen Kimi Raikkonen op Fiorano een filmdag draaide voor het team, maar de definitieve kleurstelling is nog niet bekend. De livery wordt pas onthuld tijdens de officiële presentatie van de C39.

Om de fans vast op te warmen voor de onthulling van de bolide en de livery deelde Alfa Romeo op Twitter een beeld waarop het silhouet van de auto zichtbaar is. Door de belichting is het ook mogelijk om op te maken dat de auto in ieder geval voor een deel voorzien is van een rode kleur, maar volledig uitsluitsel is op basis van de foto nog niet te geven.

Fans en media die desondanks toch een poging wilden wagen om de definitieve livery te achterhalen door de helderheid en de exposure van de foto te vergroten, kregen nul op het rekest. Alfa Romeo had blijkbaar met een dergelijk scenario rekening gehouden, want na het vergroten van de exposure van de foto kwamen op de sidepod de woorden 'Nice try :-)' tevoorschijn.

Je zou denken dat ik dat ook heb beste ROYALERE maar dat heb ik nu juist niet, ik veer juist op. Ik heb het eerder te doen met die figuren die iedere keer weer een bepaald merk of coureur denken totaal, ongenuanceerd en offtopic te moeten afzeiken. Ieder team doet het op zijn eigen manier en daar zouden wij als fans alleen maar respect voor op moeten brengen. Schril contrast is dan weer dat er ook fans zijn die de betekenis van het woord respect niet kennan.
