Alfa Romeo presenteert C39 met grotendeels dezelfde kleuren als vorig jaar

Alfa Romeo heeft zojuist als laatste team haar nieuwe bolide gepresenteerd. Kimi Raikkonen en Antonio Giovinazzi trokken iets voor half 9 het doek van de nieuwe C39.

De C39 maakte op Valentijnsdag zijn debuut op Fiorano tijdens een shakedown en filmdag. Kimi Raikkonen kwam toen de baan op met een afwijkende, donkergrijze kleurstelling. Aangenomen werd al dat dit een tijdelijke kleurstelling zou zijn en die vermoedens werden op woensdagochtend in de pits in Barcelona bevestigd.

Raikkonen en Antonio Giovinazzi komen dit seizoen uit met een rood-witte Alfa Romeo C39, die qua kleurstelling veel weg heeft van de C38 uit 2019. Ook reservecoureur Robert Kubica en testcoureur Tatiana Calderon waren bij de presentatie aanwezig. Kubica is om 9.00 uur de eerste die met de C39 in actie komt op het Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

    Alfa heeft al een prijs te pakken en dat is voor de dikste auto van het jaar. Waar alle andere teams voor slanker zijn gegaan... doet Alfa een dikkertje dap.

    Van de zijkant bezien mooie wagen, zeker de Alfa livery, vorm van de enginecover met die afgeronde vin is apart,
    nog veel opmerkelijker (en niet bepaald mooi) is de neus, benieuwd...

      Ik vind de neus nou niet zo heel veel anders dan die van vorig jaar.
      Die walrus uit 2004 vond ik schitterend btw...!!

    Nette auto en de livery is gewoon ook weer strak. Zou mooi zijn als Räikkönen zo nu en dan wat prikjes kan uitdelen.

    Er lijken wel heel veel wagens op elkaar daar achterin het middenveld. Alpha, Alfa, Haas en Williams zijn allemaal wit van voren.

      komt denk ik door de overwegend witte kleur, nadat Sauber de Red Bull sponsoring kwijt raakte reden ze vrijwel altijd met een grotendeels witte wagen, ook in de BMW periode

      Klopt ja. De Sauber is daarna altijd overwegend wit geweest. De kleurstelling van de Sauber waarin Alesi reed vond ik dan wel weer ontzettend mooi. Maar een Alfa hoort gewoon helemaal rood te zijn. Het logo op de engine cover is dan wel weer heel dik.

      Liveries interesseren me eigenlijk niet zo gek veel, maar ik vind het rood dat Sauber/Alfa Romeo in deze kleurstelling gebruikt heeft erg mooi en klassiek. Ik weet niet precies hoe deze tint heet (zal het mijn dierbare vriendin vragen), maar sowieso vind ik het mooi dat er meer Italiaans rosso corsa op de grid staat! Ook als is er buiten de motor weinig Italiaans aan het team en zal ik het tot in het einde der dagen Sauber blijven noemen! ;-)
