De laatste dag van de eerste week van de wintertest is aangebroken. Welke coureurs komen er vandaag in actie op het Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya?

Zes teams kiezen ervoor om op vrijdag twee coureurs in te zetten. Dat zijn Mercedes, Red Bull Racing, McLaren, Renault, Scuderia Toro Rosso en Haas F1. In totaal komen er dus zestien coureurs in actie op de vrijdag. Onder andere Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo en Valtteri Bottas rijden een halve dag, voordat ze zich kunnen voorbereiden op de tweede testweek.

Slechts vier coureurs rijden wél een hele dag. Dat zijn Sebastian Vettel, Lance Stroll, Antonio Giovinazzi en Nicholas Latifi. Vettel stond oorspronkelijk niet op de rol om op vrijdag in actie te komen in Barcelona, want eigenlijk zou hij op woensdag al rijden namens Ferrari, maar de naweeën van een griepje gooiden roet in het eten. Leclerc reed daarom op woensdag, Vettel rijdt daardoor vandaag.
