Nico Hulkenberg: "Je moet Sebastian Vettel nooit uitsluiten!"

De eerste wintertest lijkt vooralsnog niet het lekkere gevoel te bezorgen bij Ferrari waar men op had gehoopt. Daarbij kende Sebastian Vettel ook een probleem met de Ferrari-motor waardoor hij de testweek niet ideaal kon afsluiten.

Toch moet je Vettel nooit uitsluiten voor het kampioenschap, zo zegt landgenoot Nico Hulkenberg die dit jaar niet op de grid zal staan nadat zijn contract bij Renault niet werd verlengd.

De 32-jarige coureur uit Emmerich zei in een interview met AFP: "Ik zou Sebastian Vettel nooit uitsluiten! Hij kan altijd enorm sterk terugkomen. Hij heeft met Charles Leclerc een sterke teamgenoot die meer zekerheid en vertrouwen heeft gekregen door zijn contractverlenging."
