Rosberg kruipt komend weekend achter stuur van DTM-Mercedes

Mercedes GP-coureur Nico Rosberg luistert komend weekend de seizoensopening van de DTM op de Hockenheimring op met een bezoekje. Hij zal niet alleen aanwezig zijn om zijn merkgenoten aan te moedigen, de Duitser kruipt ook zelf achter het stuur van de AMG Mercedes C-Klasse om gasten rond te rijden.

Rosberg: Ik ben opgegroeid met DTM, al was ik zelf alleen actief in het voorprogramma zoals de Formule BMW of de Formule 3. Maar ik heb deze geweldige serie met een unieke sfeer altijd bewonderd en leuk gevonden. Ik heb echter nog nooit in een DTM-wagen gereden, of het moet die paar meter als chauffeur voor Paul di Resta naar het titelfeest in Stuttgart zijn geweest. Ik verheug me er enorm op om in Hockenheim terug naar mijn wortels te gaan en de tijd te nemen om met veel oude bekenden te praten. Daar kom ik in Formule 1-weekenden vanzelfsprekend niet aan toe.
