Brembo doneert 1 miljoen in strijd tegen pandemie

Het blijft initiatieven regenen om het verschrikkelijke coronavirus te bestrijden, zo ook vanuit de Formule 1. Naast de hulp van teams bij het ontwikkelen en fabriceren van beademingsapparatuur dragen andere firma's financieel bij in de strijd tegen deze pandemie.

Brembo, een beroemde producent en leverancier van remmen in de Formule 1, stelt bijvoorbeeld een som van 1 miljoen euro ter beschikking aan drie instanties in Bergamo die strijden tegen corona. De Italiaanse stad Bergamo is hard getroffen door het virus, met veel besmettingen en dodelijke slachtoffers.

Verder maakt de internationale autosportbond FIA ook melding van diverse leden die zich inspannen om de gezondheidszorg een steuntje in de rug te bieden in deze moeilijke tijden. De Formule 1 maakte ondertussen dit filmpje om 'Project Pitlane' uit te leggen:

Dat vind ik ook, maar ik erger me kapot aan de vele mega-multi verdieners zoals Messi, die openbaar 1 miljoen euro schenken om Corona te bestrijden.       @Messi, dat klopt. Je zou zelfs geen salaris tijdelijk willen inleveren wanneer dit vriendelijk gevraagd wordt, aangezien je amper tot niet hoeft te werken ?

      Een mooi gebaar dat ze dit doen!!!! Zijn weer velen gebaat bij.

      @schantz34 Het is toch alleen maar goed dat ze al en dit openbaar doneren. Het is hun eigen verdiende geld dus ze zijn, net als wij, tot niets verplicht.
      Het openbaar doneren heeft als voordeel dat anderen dit kopiëren en dat ze misschien wel iets meer gezien dan dat ze anoniem zouden doen. Dus voor de ontvanger (en daar gaat het om) win win!

      En je laatste regel... buiten dat het voor elke onderneming geldt....snap ik hem niet, men geeft er vrijwillig iets voor en zij geven de fans / kijkers er toch iets voor terug. Dus het is hun verdiende geld.

      Brembo heeft t nu waarschijnlijk, zoals veel (grote) bedrijven, moeilijker en moet natuurlijk ook personeel te onderhouden... dus alleen maar respect voor Brembo!
