Don Diablo deelt speciaal voor Zandvoort bedoelde set

Over precies een maand zou het zover zijn geweest; de eerste Grand Prix in Nederland sinds 1985. Op 3 mei zou de eerste Formule 1-race op het circuit van Zandvoort in 35 jaar plaatsvinden, ware het niet dat het coronavirus alles in de war schopte. De Nederlandse Grand Prix is tot nader order uitgesteld. Niet alleen de fans moeten nog even geduld hebben, maar ook de artiesten.

Zo was het de bedoeling dat DJ Don Diablo een optreden zou verzorgen tijdens het Grand Prix-weekend op Zandvoort. Hij heeft speciaal daarvoor een set in elkaar gedraaid. Aangezien het onzeker is of Don Diablo er bij de eerstvolgende editie van de Nederlandse Grand Prix bij kan zijn, heeft hij besloten deze set via zijn Youtube-kanaal te delen. Ook op de Facebook-pagina's van DutchGP en Circuit Zandvoort zal de set vanaf 4 april 19.00 uur te zien en te beluisteren zijn.

Don Diablo: "We leven in een extreem onwerkelijke periode momenteel. Rond deze tijd zou ik normaliter aangekondigd worden als muzikale headliner van de allereerste Nederlandse Grand Prix sinds jaren. Een historisch moment waar ik graag mijn steentje aan bij wilde dragen."

"Voorlopig moeten we echter allemaal zoveel mogelijk thuisblijven en goed voor elkaar blijven zorgen. Middels deze unieke actie hoop ik samen met de organisatie alsnog een beetje vreugde de Nederlandse huiskamers in te kunnen laten rollen en tegelijkertijd te kunnen genieten van dit legendarische circuit."
