Williams strikt Precision Hydration als nieuwe leverancier

Het team van Williams is er in deze moeilijke tijden toch in geslaagd om een nieuwe partner aan zich te binden. De Britse renstal slaat de handen ineen met Precision Hydration, een specialist in de hydratatie van atleten. Het bedrijf staat onder meer bekend om hun Sweat Testing-technologie, die ze ook bij Williams zullen toepassen. Daarmee meten ze het vochtverlies van alle teamleden, inclusief coureurs, om precies vast te stellen hoeveel en wat ze moeten drinken om goed van hun inspanningen te herstellen.

Tim Hunt, commercieel directeur bij Williams, over deze samenwerking: "Het team is meedogenloos in de jacht op meer performance en de mogelijkheid om samen te weken met een bedrijf als Precision Hydration konden we niet laten schieten. De focus voor al onze partners is verschoven en we zijn vastberaden om de groei voor al onze partners te versnellen. We verheugen ons erop om samen met Precision Hydration de vruchten van deze samenwerking te plukken."

Andy Blow, oprichter van Precision Hydration, voegt toe: "We hebben eerder met individuele rijders en monteurs gewerkt in de Formule 1, maar Williams is het eerste team dat erkent dat ze onze technologie en kennis goed kunnen gebruiken voor de hydratatie van hun manschappen. Bij autosport denkt men al snel aan de coureurs, maar het hele team moet optimaal presteren onder zware en vaak warme omstandigheden. Williams is een vooruitstrevende organisatie en we zijn verguld om met hen samen te gaan werken."

Voor mij een van de meest aansprekende teams die er al heel lang bij zijn uit de F1.
Ik hoop werkelijk dat uit het diepe dal waar ze nu inzitten kunnen krabbelen aan hun doorzettingsvermogen zal het niet liggen.

  Mijn omgeving ligt keurig netjes opgesteld in de kelder, 7 hoog en 3 rijtjes dik Putmans. Maak er weer een mooie, en gezellige dag van jongen. Je kunt het!
