Formule 1 viert vandaag het 70-jarige bestaan van de sport

De Formule 1 is vandaag jarig. Het is precies 70 jaar geleden dat de koningsklasse van de autosport ontstond. Op 13 mei 1950 was Silverstone gastheer voor de eerste race in het eerste officiële Formule 1-kampioenschap. Grands Prix hadden daarvoor al plaatsgevonden, maar nimmer in seizoensverband. Daar kwam in 1950 verandering in, dus heeft de Formule 1 wat te vieren. En de teams vieren het feestje vrolijk mee.

Gaat snel de tijd. Ook veel veranderd. Was ook goedkoper toen om een race te bezoeken. Mooie tijden.

  Vroeger ging je gewoon gratis naar de race, gewoon via de duinen (of de heuvels om Spa). Even een rustig plekje zoeken, over het hek heen klimmen (als dat er überhaupt al stond) en je kon zo het circuit op lopen (sterker nog, je kon vroegâh zo de baan op lopen).

  Ja vroeger toen kon je in Spa zelfs het rennerskwartier nog binnenglippen.
  Ze verkochten daar van die heerlijke broodjes hamburger met heel veel uien en van die broodjes worst met zuurkool.
  Als ik er weer aan denk dan.............

  Ja wat vreselijk dom van mij he om zomaar een willekeurige datum in te tikken.
  Maar toen kon ik nog niet vermoeden dat ik het doelwit zou worden van een kinderlijke basher. Een strontvlieg zoals we dat hier in het dorp noemen.
  Ik begrijp niet waarom sommige wezens daar zo in volharden en van geen ophouden weten.
  Kennelijk is hun leven zo leeg dat dat hun enige vertier is om lekker anoniem de aso uit te hangen.
  En dan heb je ook nog van die zielige meelopertjes van die anoniem plusjes gevers.
  Wat ik me dan wel afvraag is waarom de wereld zo gestraft moet worden voor de vruchtbaarheid van hun ouders
  Maar goed als ze er plezier in hebben moeten ze dat vooral blijven doen ze tonen er vooral en regelmatig hun eigen zielige karakter mee.
