Ook Pierre Gasly van de partij in virtuele 24 uur van Le Mans

Red Bull Racing-coureur Max Verstappen en Lando Norris van McLaren krijgen in het weekend van 13 en 14 juni bij de virtuele 24 uur van Le Mans gezelschap van nog een rijder uit de Formule 1. Alpha Tauri-coureur Pierre Gasly zal namelijk ook deelnemen aan de online variant van de beroemde lange afstands-race.

Gasly krijgt bij Veloce Esports 1 twee Nederlanders als teamgenoten. Voormalig Renault-talent Jarno Opmeer en simracer Isaac Gillissen maken namelijk deel uit van dit kwartet. De line-up van Veloce Esports 1 wordt gecompleteerd door oud Formule 1-coureur Jean-Eric Vergne (tegenwoordig Formule E).

De virtuele 24 uur van Le Mans komt in plaats van de echte 24 uur van Le Mans, die is verplaatst naar 19 en 20 september.
