Jerome D'Ambrosio zal na afloop van de kwalificatie vijf plaatsen terug worden gezet op de startgrid. De stewards kwamen tot deze beslissing na het bestuderen van videomateriaal.

De Belg heeft volgens de racestewards niet ingehouden tijdens de gele vlag-situatie na de crash van Pastor Maldonado en zal daardoor vijf posities achteruit worden gezet.
