Geen motorhomes bij Europese Grands Prix

Tijdens de eerste Europese Grand Prix van het jaar pakken de Formule 1-teams altijd groot uit met de motorhomes. Dat zal dit jaar bij de start van het Formule 1-seizoen in Oostenrijk niet het geval zijn. De FOM heeft besloten af te zien van de motorhomes doordat er zo weinig mogelijk mensen aanwezig zijn op de raceweekenden, waardoor er dus geen gasten zijn en veel minder media dan normaal.

Ieder team heeft een aantal containers waaruit het kan werken die dienen als motorhome/werkruimte voor pers en medewerkers van de teams zelf.

Ook krijgt ieder team zijn eigen hotel of pop-up hotel. Daarin zal alleen dit team gevestigd zijn en geen andere teams, dit om contact met ieder ander team en teamleden van andere teams te vermijden.

Dus elk team heeft drie van die containers, waarvan twee voor de coureurs en hun trainers zijn om zich voor te bereiden en in die andere moeten alle teamleden eten, vergaderen, pauzeren, etc. Krappe bedoening met 80 personen.

Volgens mij klopt het bericht niet helemaal. Ik zie overal zeecontainers staan behalve bij Alpha Tauri en Red Bull (Holzhaus). Psychologische oorlogsvoering van Herr Marko? :p

  Ach, het zal iets te maken hebben gehad met eigenaar zijn van het circuit die hemel en politiek bewogen heeft om de Grand Prix door te laten gaan en een Oostenrijks team te zijn.

  Zal het op silverstone niet andersom zijn dat dan juist de engelse teams de eigen hospitality units kunnen gebruiken en RBR niet... en in italie..... Misschien iets te maken met niet te veel willen verplaatsen!
