Ferrari zet updates op auto's Vettel en Leclerc om probleem op te lossen

Sebastian Vettel is de laatste tijd vaak in het nieuws. De Duitser heeft nog geen stoeltje voor volgend seizoen. Bij Red Bull Racing, Mercedes en bij veel andere teams is er geen plek meer of hebben ze aangegeven door te gaan met de huidige coureurs. De viervoudig wereldkampioen heeft ook geen voordeel met de prestaties van het Italiaanse team, want Ferrari kan zich niet voegen bij de top drie.

De 33-jarige Duitser is evenals zijn teamgenoot te spreken over de setup. De Italiaanse renstal heeft op beide bolides voor een agressieve afstelling gekozen. Het was volgens Vettel erg lastig om die op de auto te krijgen, omdat er maar twee trainingssessies waren. "Op vrijdag hebben we een setup ingesteld, maar het was moeilijk te finetunen, omdat we maar weinig tijd hadden, maar vandaag hebben we 71 ronden om te bewijzen dat we wel meekunnen met de top."

Updates zichtbaar op de wagen

De coureur uit Duitsland in dienst van Ferrari vindt het nog wel raar om op hetzelfde circuit nog een race te rijden, maar nu kan iedereen volgens hem zien dat de Ferrari-bolide is geüpgraded. "Het is uniek om op hetzelfde circuit het volgende weekend in te gaan. We zullen vandaag de bevestiging hebben. Het team heeft hard gewerkt aan de updates. We hebben enkele verbeteringen gezien, die jullie vandaag ook gaan zien."
