Het was voor McLaren een leuk weekend in Portugal. De Britse formatie reed enkele rondjes met Carlos Sainz aan kop voor de Mercedessen. Helaas kon de Spanjaard Hamilton en Bottas niet achter zich houden en verloor Sainz de leiding en ook Verstappen kwam hem voorbij. Hierdoor had hij geen podium. Lando Norris dacht tijdens de GP in een achtbaan te zitten. Hoe de twee coureurs en het team het weekend beleefden, zie je hier.
