Trulli: "Grand Prix van Monaco wordt dit jaar fascinerend"

Met DRS, KERS en snel slijtende banden zijn alle ingrediënten aanwezig voor een gedenkwaardige Grand Prix van Monaco. Dat is de verwachting van Team Lotus-coureur Jarno Trulli. Vooral het rubber van Pirelli heeft dit jaar bewezen van grote invloed te zijn op het racen.

Trulli: De Grand Prix van Monaco wordt dit jaar fascinerend, denk ik. We hebben al gezien dat de impact van de banden op het racen en het kwalificeren enorm is. In Monaco zal dat nog meer het geval zijn. We beschikken over de superzachte en de zachte banden, waardoor de verschillen in rondetijd waarschijnlijk minder groot zijn dan in Spanje. Aerodynamische prestaties zijn minder belangrijk in Monaco, maar strategie is van cruciaal belang en op dat vlak hebben we goede mensen in dienst, dus onze vooruitzichten zijn aardig.
