McNish in plaats van Prost als extra steward in Monaco

Niet viervoudig wereldkampioen Formule 1 Alain Prost assisteert de stewards komend weekend in Monaco, maar Allan McNish doet in het prinsdom dienst als adviseur. De FIA had Prost als extra steward in de preview gezet, maar dat bleek een foutje.

McNish debuteert in Monaco als steward. De Schot was zelf in 2002 actief in de Formule 1 en bleef in dat seizoen puntloos. Een jaar later was hij derde rijder voor Renault. McNish schreef twee maal de 24 uur van Le Mans op zijn naam, in 1998 en 2008.
